Terms and Conditions
The Grand me Customer Loyalty Scheme allows Grand me Cardholders to accumulate points on their purchases from Grand Mall & Grand Express Hypermarket, Doha, Qatar. The cards eligible for Grand me points earning will be as determined by the G from time to time.
Eligibility
All customers of Grand are eligible for Grand me loyalty programme. Grand me card shall be provided free of cost. There can be only one card issued per customer irrespective of the value of transactions.
Exclusions
Grand reserves the right at their absolute discretion at any time to exclude any customer from inclusion in the Customer Loyalty Program or to cancel the registration of any customer.
In order to benefit from Grand me Points, the Grand me Card must be valid and in good standing as per the criteria and standards applied by the Grand from time to time. The Cardholder's acceptance of the terms and conditions outlined hereinafter shall be deemed satisfied upon redemption of his/her Grand me Points.
Enrollment
The Grand me cards will be delivered to The customer through own distribution system
Grand Me Card points will be visible both in Grand Hyper Mobile Application and Customer care
Reward Points
Each purchase of QR 1/- (one) will earn a minimum of 0.50 Grand Me points, with the possibility of earning higher points during special promotions from time to time (except for telephone recharge cards, mobile phones, and heavy household goods).
Grand Me Points Validity - One year from the date of purchase
Grand me Points will be awarded from the date the card is activated and can be used for all the purchases made by the customer from Grand Outlets .
Grand Me points shall be rewarded only if the customer presents his/her Grand me card before the final settlement is done at the POS. Any negligence from the customer’s part in presenting the card before the transaction completion shall be treated as final and points will not be given for such transaction, The Grand Hypermarket shall have the sole authority to give / not to give points in such situations
Grand me Points awarded to the Cardholder may be shown in the purchase bills and can be verified at the Customer Care. The customer will get to know his exact redeemable points only after a minimum of 24 hours after the last purchase as hold points shall be transferred to the customer account in a minimum of 24 hours. The points are redeemable in such manner as set out in the ‘Grand me Points brochure’ which shall be updated from time to time as per the Grand Hypermarket and ‘Grand Me’ decisions.
In case of defective / damaged ‘Grand Me ‘cards, the history of points earned shall be transferred to the duplicate card, with / without a card processing charge. Issue of a duplicate card as free of cost or at any price is at the sole discretion of Grand. The customer shall not be liable for the points earned during the processing period of a duplicate card.
Cardholders cannot accrue Grand me Points for any transactions on the Grand me Card prior to his/her Enrollment Date.
All purchases transacted through cardholder's Grand me Cards are eligible for Grand me Points except :- a. The Items or purchases excluded from the program
b. Transactions that the Grand decides are disputed, erroneous, unauthorized, void, illegal and/or of fraudulent nature.
The Grand Hypermarket may, at its sole discretion and without prior notice to the Cardholder, add to, or remove from, or alter otherwise the list of eligible purchases for Grand me points. The Grand Hypermarket may also award different points on the basis of product purchased .The Grand Hypermarket decision as to what constitutes an eligible purchase shall be final and conclusive.
Grand me Points will stop accruing if the Cardholder fails to purchase from our outlets for a continuous period of more than 3 months or such other period as may be decided by the Grand Hypermarket in this regard.
In the event the Card is voluntarily closed by the Cardholder, Grand me Points accumulated on his/her Card have to be redeemed within 365 days of card closure; otherwise his/her points shall be forfeited. a. In the event the Card is cancelled by the Grand Hypermarket for any other reason, all the Grand me Points accumulated will stand forfeited.
b. If the Card is blocked or suspended by the Grand Hypermarket for any reason whatsoever, then the Grand me Points accumulated shall stand forfeited but may be reinstated at the discretion of Grand Hypermarket if use of the Card is reinstated.
Adjustments will be made to the Grand me Points balance if there are any credits, including those arising from returned goods or services or billing disputes. If a disputed transaction is resolved in favor of the Cardholder or where a transaction is reversed, proportionate Grand me Points will also be reversed and credited/debited to the Cardholder. On redemption, Grand me Points would automatically be subtracted from the Points accumulated in the Cardholder's account. If the points earned are redeemed and a chance of adjustments like return or refunds arise, Grand Hypermarket shall have the authority to charge the monetary deduction based on the points to be reversed/deducted. The amount of this deduction shall be fixed appropriately by the governing rules of ‘Grand Me’ program and is at the sole discretion of Grand Hypermarket.
The Grand Hypermarket’s decision on computation of Grand me Points will be final, conclusive and binding on the Cardholder.
Redemption
A minimum of 1,000 points is required to claim the redemption.
The Cardholder can only redeem those Grand me Redeemable Points registered and credited to the Grand me Card Account of the Cardholder at the time of making the redemption. Hold Points will not be valid for redemption until and unless it is transferred to redeemable points .The books and records of the Grand Hypermarket shall be conclusive evidence in respect of the number of Grand me Points registered and credited to the Cardholder's Grand me Card Account.
Without prejudice to the foregoing, the Grand Hypermarket reserves its right to be exercised at any time without prior notice to the Cardholder, to apply time limitations on the validity of the Grand me Points earned by the Cardholder and credited to the Cardholder's Grand me Card Account. Any unprocessed redemption order for Grand me Points that have been cancelled, shall not be processed by the Grand Hypermarket despite the fact that such redemption order was received before the Cardholder's relevant Grand me Points cancellation.
Any order placed for the redemption of Grand me Points for any of the Rewards in the Grand me Points Brochure is subject to the Grand Hypermarket approval, the availability of the Reward at the time of placing the redemption order by the Cardholder, as well as any restrictions applied by the suppliers of the Reward. The Grand Hypermarket may, without prior notice to the Cardholder withdraw or substitute any of the Rewards for another Reward of comparable value or nature.
A minimum of 1000 Grand me Points is required for any form of redemption. Only one redemption request will be accepted per day per cardholder.
The minimum turnaround time for processing redemption requests is - 5 working days. The ‘ grand Hypermarket’ cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond the turn around time specified if such delays are caused due to circumstances beyond the ‘ grand Hypermarket control. Grand Hypermarket also has the right to change these time lags from time to time with or without prior notice to the Cardholder.
Grand me Points once redeemed cannot be converted back to Grand me Points.
The Grand Hypermarket gives no warranty whatsoever (whether expressed or implied) and undertakes no liability in respect of the quality of the Rewards or their suitability or fitness for any purpose.
Should a Reward arrive damaged or faulty, the Customer may notify the GrandHypermarket within two days from the date of his/her receipt of the Reward giving full details as shall be requested by the ‘ grand Hypermarket’.
The Grand Hypermarket shall use its best endeavors to convey the Cardholder's complaint to the supplier of the Reward and arrange for a replacement thereof, if possible. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Grand Hypermarket shall not be held responsible in any way whatsoever for any damaged or defective Rewards. Redemption orders once submitted to the Grand Hypermarket cannot be cancelled, revoked or changed.
Details of specific rewards are set out in the Grand me Points Brochure / Reward Display Stand in the participating outlet which is subject to change from time to time as may be determined by the Hypermarket without prior notice to the Cardholder. All Reward selections are non-returnable. When deemed necessary by the Grand Hypermarket and/or merchant partners of the Grand me Points Programme, they may make similar substitution without advance notice to the Cardholder.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information contained in the Grand me Points Brochure, which may be dispatched to the Cardholder from time to time, is accurate. The Grand Hypermarket is not responsible for any errors or omissions, which may appear on the Grand me Points Brochure.
General
The Grand Hypermarket will have the right to design any schemes for the benefits of the customers which will be communicated from time to time. All the existing Grandme customers are eligible for the special benefits offered by the Grand Xpress under Grandme.
The Grand Hypermarket reserves the right to disqualify any Cardholder from further participation in the Grand me Points Programme, if in the Grand Hypermarket sole judgment, that Cardholder has in any way violated these terms and conditions and/or the terms & conditions of his/her Grand meCard Agreement. Suspension and disqualification may result, at the Grand Express Ezdan’s sole discretion, to the cancellation and nullification of all Grand me Points earned by the Cardholder.
The Grand Hypermarket is entitled, at any time and without any prior notice or liability to the Cardholder in any manner whatsoever, to terminate the Grand me Points Programme and/or cancel and/or vary its benefits or features, and/or vary, add to or delete any of the terms and conditions outlined herein, and/or withdraw or change the participants of the Grand me Points Programme, and/or modify or limit the value of Grand me Points and/or the manner of their redemption even though any of such acts may diminish the value of the Grand me Points already accumulated.
Fraud and abuse relating to earning and redemption of Grand me Points will result in forfeiture of the Grand me Points as well as termination of the Card.
Information supplied by a Cardholder on application and or redemption of rewards may be used by the ‘Grand Hypermarket for administrative and/or marketing purposes.
The Grand Hypermarket acts in good faith in response to any oral or electronic instruction or inquiry by the Cardholder in respect of any matter in relation to this Program and fulfillment of any reward. The Cardholder will not be entitled to claim or allege any loss, damage, liability, expense etc. attributable directly or indirectly to any such good faith action of the Grand Hypermarket and the Cardholder shall indemnify and hold the Grand Hypermarket harmless in respect thereof.
